Sister Act Celebration and Silent Auction
Newest Episode: May 2, 2021
Sister Act opened on Broadway on April 20, 2011. It was a smashing success, with a cast that went on to many more successes. I was lucky enough to go along for the ride.
Sister Act had a lot of great merchandise, and each of us had a few pieces. So, we casually thought we’d offer them for sale to help raise funds for Covenant House, a charity that helps homeless and disadvantaged youth. Well, it turns out that generosity is contagious! Our guests dug deep and have offered even more of their nostalgic treasures! And presto! we may have started a bidding war. Oops!

About Broadway's Calling
Lance Roberts (My Fair Lady, Sunset Boulevard, Sister Act) invites guests who've appeared on Broadway to share the experience of where and when they got the call that they had been hired for their first Broadway show. Broadway's Calling started as an idea/question in 2012, while Lance was appearing in Ghost the Musical, as the Hospital Ghost. What started out as a "coffee table book," soon became a dialog and social media exchange. Fast forward to the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, advances in streaming content technologies, and Presto! here we are.
